I founded my business in 1998, after finding zero opportunities for Black Female Artist, other than 'open mic' showcases. I decided that I would discover myself and not wait for anyone to validate my talent/gift. I basically learned the business day… I founded my business in 1998, after finding zero opportunities for Black Female Artist, other than 'open mic' showcases. I decided that I would discover myself and not wait for anyone to validate my talent/gift. I basically learned the business day by day, asking questions and following my dream/passion. Now twenty odd years later, I have traveled the world as an independent artist and have employed top musicians and mentored new artist and promoters on 'Best Practices.'
